Ahsan Untoo pays tributes to Ayoub Khan for his contribution | KNO

Srinagar, January 10 (KNO): Chairman International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Muhammad Ahsan Untoo today paid rich tributes to Muhammad Ayoub khan, son of Ghulam Muhammad Khan of Devar Lolab kupwara who died in a tragic road accident. Untoo as per a statement issued to KNO said that Khan crossed over the LoC in December 1989 and returned in March 1990 after joining Hizbul Mujahideen. "He was arrested in 1992 and released in.1994. During his arrest period je lost his father and his sister lost mental balance and turned a psychiatric patient," he said. "Khan was working as a labourer to feed his family that includes his wife and children. But on January 8 unknown biker hit him near Chanapora in which he sustained grave injuries and later died,” Untoo said. He said that deceased Ayoub Khan was a great solider of ongoing Kashmir movement whose contribution will always be remembered. “May his soul rest in peace,” he said.(KNO)
